Hershey Co. recently participated in the Believe in Heroes Campaign by making a $100,000 donation to Wounded Warrior Project. Hershey tied its support of the campaign to its No. 1 baking chip, Hershey’s® Semi-Sweet Baking Chips. When consumers picked up a bag of Hershey’s Semi-Sweet Baking Chips they saw a “Help Us Honor Heroes” burst with a QR code that took consumers to the Wounded Warrior Project website where they could make a donation. This was enhanced with special in-store merchandising.
