Sugarfina has opened the first-ever retail shop and custom gifting experience where 40% of the candies are not available anywhere else in the U.S. The store will feature the brand’s signature turquoise Bento Boxes, a luxurious candy gift box, and encourage consumers to customize their own box by selecting from over 140 candies from around the world. Candy consultants will help them design the perfect box based on their taste profile. The store will also feature a candy tasting bar which will feature a selection of 60 candies on regular rotation.
“We created Sugarfina because the candy store of our dreams didn’t exist,” said founders Rosie ONeill, former marketing director for Barbie, and former video game entrepreneur, Josh Resnick. “We dreamed of gourmet sweets made with premium ingredients — candy that’s as beautiful to look at as it is to taste.”
Sugarfina candy will line the walls on thin floating shelves, so the candy will appear to be floating.
