Samsung’s Lounges Star At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

For Samsung, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York was about brand awareness and elevating the Samsung brand experience. An elite sponsorship gave Samsung visibility in several locations and numerous opportunities for social media exposure. MC2, (www.mce.com), a Chestnut Ridge, NY-headquartered display firm, created Samsung’s three lounges – the Experience Lounge, the Backstage Galaxy Lounge and the Press Lounge – which created the backdrop for photos, videos, and posts shared across social media.
MC2 evoked a premium look and feel with glass and pierced-cut, backlit wall graphics of New York City brownstones. Each brownstone window became a showcase for Samsung products and gear.
High-end, jewelry-style display cases and beauty bar seating put guests in front of Samsung’s latest products. Guests checked out phones and tablets and virtual reality goggles.
Visitors to the lounge shared photos and videos on Instagram, Vine, Tumblr, Swarm, Twitter, and Foursquare.
