In supermarkets across the country, Trion has implemented its EWT™ (Expandable Wire Tray) system in meat departments. Due to the variations of the EWT, Trion was able to implement the system for the store’s entire meat wall. In doing so, an extra row (per 4 ft. section) was gained and the packout was increased due to the additional facings. Since the tray system pushed the products forward, shopper experience was boosted and sales increased as a result. The EWT system lowered the store’s labor cost as taking time to face the products was eliminated and lowered the restocking time.
